Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to launch their rose wine

Hollywood actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have become the newest celebs to be in winemaking business. Next month, the couple is planning to launch their very own rose wine.

The star couple have now teamed up with French winemaking Perrin family to make Miraval Cotes de Provence wine label, which is named after their own Chateau Miraval estate which is located in southern part of France, told Marc Perrin.

The wine is made from the pair’s estate near the Brignoles town and report suggests that the price will be around fifteen euros (i.e. US $ 20) each bottle.

Pitt and Jolie got the five hundred hectare estate in the year 2008 for about forty million euros. Since the time they have bought this estate, they have used it as their summer residence. The estate have about fifty to sixty acres of vines.

Pitt and Jolie are the newest addition in the long list of celebs who have invested in wine business. The list includes 7 time Formula One champion Germany's Michael Schumacher, singer Madonna, sting, actor Gerard Depardieu, filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, footballer David Beckham and many more.

Most of them are not actively involved in this process directly. However, it was reported that Pitt and Jolie want to do more than just put their names on the label.

An insider told that both Pitt and Jolie want to be proud of the wine on their property. They are really looking for excellence. They are two families at the service of the estate.
